Heejun (American name: David Lee) is a Korean born in the United States. As a child, he believed he was a dinosaur. He would eat dumplings like a Spinosaurus and roar like a Tyrannosaurus Rex while playing with his younger sibling. Fortunately, he has become much calmer these days.

Heejun has always enjoyed sharing his unique thoughts with others. In particular, he loved creating countless imaginative and astonishing stories about his own worlds with his younger sibling. Now, he hopes to share those worlds with everyone.

As a person with autism, he also hopes to be a positive role model for other artists with disabilities—showing that although the path is not always easy, it is possible to overcome challenges and connect with the world. He continues to live each day with dedication.

He currently lives in California with his dog, Doggy, and—with the support of his family—is actively engaged in publishing his work.

희준이는 (미국이름 데이비드 리) 미국에서 태어난 한국인으로서, 어렸을 때는 자신이 공룡이라고 생각하며 자랐답니다. 스피노사우루스처럼 만두를 먹고, 티라노사우루스 렉스처럼 포효하며 동생과 놀곤 했는데 다행이도 요즘은 그전보다는 훨씬 얌전해졌습니다.

희준이는 항상 자신만의 독특한 생각을 사람들과 나누기를 좋아했고 특히 자기의 어린 동생과 함께 자신의 수 많은 창의적이고 놀라운 세계에 대한 이야기들을 만들었고 나아가 이제는 자신의 세계를 세상 모두와 나누고 싶어합니다.

더불어 자폐를 가진 사람으로서, 장애를 가진 다른 예술가들에게 좋은 본보기가 되어 비록 쉽지 않은 길이지만 장애를 극복하고 세상과 소통하는 한 사례가 되기를 소망하며 오늘도 열심히 하루 하루를 보내고 있습니다.

현재 캘리포니아에서 그의 강아지 도기와 함께 살며, 가족의 도움을 받아 출판 활동을 하고 있습니다.
